Did You Know: 6 Countries Barred From Facebook,Twitter and Youtube

Youtube is the latest social media channel banned in Turkey , within an interval of one week  the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan blocked social media channel Twitter which was first to be banned . It was reported that the Prime Minister of Turkey banned these social media channels because of political reasons. There has been campaigns agaisnt the ban in Turkey, but no news of the Prime Minister lifting the ban.  Turkey isn’t the only country being banned from Social Media . Here below are list of 6 countries also being banned from social media:

1. North Korea: The country’s internet access has long been blocked so there is no social media platform to communicate to the rest of the world.

2. China & Iran: Due to political disorder within their borders, these countries blocked Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.

3. Eritrea: This country has been reported to be a censored country, which blocked Youtube.

4. Pakistan: This country reportedly refused to remove a politically chaged video in 2012 and continues to block Youtube to this day.

5. Vietnam: The reports from Vietnam suggests that Facebook has been blocked for several years.
